This piece is very true to it's picture very defined. The cup itself is of fine quality as well. The story behind it was beautiful to read. When I look at it, it will take me back to the first time that I saw and read the story. Glad I took the time to purchase. No regrets!

Shem Creek is a unique fishing area across the cooper river from Charleston in Mt Pleasant SC. Shem creek has these wonderful outdoor restaurants and hotels all along this area along a boardwalk. We came here several time and today I captured this shrimp boat as it just came in to the many fish markets along the area of shem creek. As the boat came in you could see lot of sea birds following the boat in and now the birds wait below for the discarded fish and shrimp that don't make the cut from the fisherman. Most of the pelicans float below in he water waiting for there catch of the day but some are more impaient and go to the source as the belt for the seafood on the boat slowly move toward the end some pelicans and Egrets wait on the boat for an early snack.
